The package is priced at $69.95 per person, per day plus an 18 percent service charge when purchased before the cruise, or $74.95 per person, per day plus the service charge if you wait to purchase it onboard. With Cheers, guests can enjoy a wide range of beverages including spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine by the glass up to a $20 menu price. It also covers plenty of non-alcoholic options such as sodas, zero-proof frozen cocktails, energy drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and bottled water. In addition to these inclusions, the package provides a 25 percent discount on any spirits or wines over $20 by the glass, bottles of wine and champagne, and even mixology classes or seminars offered on board.

There are a few important rules to keep in mind. The package allows up to 15 alcoholic drinks per person per 24-hour period, measured from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m., and drinks must be ordered one at a time. Sharing is not permitted, and double shots are excluded. Carnival also requires that all adults in the same cabin purchase the package if one person chooses it. The Cheers package is not valid for room service, in-cabin mini-bars, or while ashore, and depending on your home port, it may not activate until the second day of your cruise.
